Parish Planning Applications List

Harberton Parish Council is asked to give a recommendation to the Planning Authority (South Hams District Council) on plans for development within the Parish.  This page lists all planning applications received for a 12 month period.  Sometimes Parish Councillors are asked to give comment on neighbouring parish developments.

If you are interested in making your opinion known about a planning application that you believe affects you, you may do this by writing to the Planning Authority who will take your comments into account when making their decision.

You may also wish to let your Parish Councillors know your views by speaking to Parish Councillors, by contacting the Clerk or by attending the meeting of the Parish Council at which the planning application in question is due to be discussed.

The Clerk will inform Parish Councillors of any letters received on the same date the agenda containing the planning application is published.  Any letters received after this date will not be included but may be summarised by the Clerk at the meeting, at the discretion of the Chairman.  Please see the Parish Council’s adopted policy on treatment of anonymous letters here.

The list below shows applications as received by Harberton Parish Council and the date that the application is likely to be considered.  Parish Council recommendations are recorded in the minutes of the meeting at which the application is discussed, and published on the planning authority website, not on this page.  Applications will remain on this list for a 12 month period.
